As is the tradition in most independent schools, Blue Oak School sets tuition to cover only about 85% of our operating budget. This allows the entire community to come together to fill the gap – and then some. We do this through The Acorn Fund. The Acorn Fund is our nonprofit school’s annual fund that allows us to go above and beyond what the general operating budget would allow in three key areas: academic initiatives, faculty support, and financial aid for well-qualified students. We are fortunate at Blue Oak School to enjoy a culture of financial giving that has helped our school grow and flourish year after year.

As a valued member of our community, we hope you will make Blue Oak School your highest philanthropic priority. The goal for the Acorn Fund campaign each year is 100% participation by all Blue Oak families, faculty, staff, and the Board of Trustees. In celebration of our 20th Anniversary, we ask that you will join us by making a meaningful gift on behalf of your family to celebrate the strong impact our school is making for your own child(ren).
